Doha: The 2022 FIFA World Cup draw took place on Friday. The groups for the FIFA World Cup 2022 were decided at a draw ceremony that was held in Qatar. This year, the football world cup will begin from November 21. A total of 32 teams will be participating in the world cup in Qatar.
There will a total of eight groups. Former World Cup winners Spain and Germany are in Group E, While France are in Group D. Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal are in Group H. Brazil and Argentina are in Group G and Group C respectively.
Till now only 29 teams out of 32 have been confirmed. Intercontinental playoffs taking place on June 13 and 14 will decide the remaining two teams, while the final place will be decided during play-offs between Wales, Scotland, and Ukraine.
